Novation Circuit meets Modal Skulpt

I have to apologize in all my form.

The sculpture is amazing.

I had promised you a second date and on this date the Skulpt showed its true self, its ARP / SEQ functions. And they are awesome.

Not only can I record the ARP directly as a sequence (like the MicroFreak), I can then continue to jam with the ARP if I want. Of course, I can also add notes to the sequence, which creates an incredible workflow. This is a dream.

Nevertheless, I would like to issue a warning: the sculpture is simply not and cannot please everyone. I have now really looked at the device in detail and can say that it is still fiddly to create sounds. It's a shame that Modal decided to build a synth that sometimes can't be operated at all without an Ipad. That will annoy many and at this point I can really only say clearly: Better buy something with better usability, i.e. a Volca or the MicroFreak.

For all those who are curious and who know what they are getting into, I can say: take it.

I think I'll show a few more jams with the Skulpt, because the workflow is just fun.

On the circuit I used a patch pack from Novation, the free one from Ali the Architect Kit 1.
